Blood Network Consultative Meeting  

 Last May 28-30, 2019, a Blood Network Consultative Meeting with the Blood Service Facilities (BSFs) throughout the Davao Region was held at the Grand Men Seng Hotel. The Department of Health's National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP) aims to achieve 100% voluntary non-remunerated blood donation (VNRBD) by the year 2020. Moreover, meetings with the members of the Blood Service Network focuses on updating stakeholders on new policies and guidelines. This also serves as an avenue for sharing the best practices of each BSF, as well as in identifying and addressing challenges in the direct distribution system of blood products.
